Hiking in Washington

Recommendation:Check which pass you need to park at various trails (Discover or America the Beautiful) Washington is known for a few things: Rain, tech companies, and gorgeous nature. Washington has two major mountain ranges: The Cascade Range and The Olympic Mountains. Within the state, you'll find over 8,000 lakes! The trail systems are HUGE, but here are a few of my favorites: Mountain trails: - Tiger Mountain - 6 miles - Teneriffe Falls - 6 miles - Mt. Si - 8 miles - Mailbox Peak - 4 or 8 miles depending on the route - Camp Muir (Highest point you can hike on Mt. Rainier without mountaineering skills - 8 miles - Mt. Teneriffe - 10 miles - Navajo Peak - 14 miles Hikes to a lake: - Crystal Lake - 7 miles - Olallie Lake - 7 miles - Snow Lake - 8 miles - Annette Lake - 8 miles - Diablo Lake - 8 miles - Lake Ingalls - 8 miles - Rachel Lake - 9 miles - Lake Serene - 9 miles - Joe Lake - 11 miles - Tuck & Robin Lakes - 14 miles - The Enchantments - 20 miles as a through hike (Need a permit to sleep overnight)
